Bochum vs Dortmund – Betting Preview
Die Unabsteigbaren, who have played in the second tier for the majority of the past ten years, have advanced to the competition’s round of eight three times since the 2011–12 campaign. Their 2-1 loss to Freiburg last season was especially upsetting because Roland Sallai scored with almost the last kick of the game in extra time.
Bochum looked destined to return to the second tier after earning just one point from their first eight games this time around, but a change in management in the form of Thomas Letsch has significantly improved their situation.
Bochum comfortably avoided relegation in their first season back in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund has won all four of their league games since returning from the World Cup, though, and has closed the gap on Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga to only three points.
In their most recent victory at Signal Iduna Park, BVB benefited from Kiliann Sildillia’s early dismissal for Freiburg. On Saturday, they thrashed their top-four opponents 5-1 while playing with a man advantage for 73 minutes and additional time.
After missing the first half of the season due to a testicular cancer diagnosis, Sebastien Haller scored his first goal for the team, and Giovanni Reyna scored his third goal in four games while playing off the bench.

Borussia Dortmund will want to maintain their excellent record in the DFB-Pokal from recent seasons, especially as it represents their best chance of winning a trophy this season despite their excellent form of late suggesting that higher ambitions may be realistic.
They are the favourites to win this one @ 1.77.
The possibility of a stalemate after the 90 mins are played, stands @ 4.25.
Total goals over/under
The odds that the total number of goals scored will be over 2.5, stands @ 1.59.
