‘Sancho is a great player’ – Mata

The Red Devils are reportedly circling for the young star and Also the club’s current players are aware of his Abilities.

Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata labelled Jadon Sancho a”great player” amid talk the Borussia Dortmund attacker could join the club.

Sancho, 20, has been linked with a move into the Premier League after filming for Dortmund during the past two seasons.

Appearing on Instagram Live, Mata was asked about the England international, who’s supposedly a goal for United.

“What do you want me to say?” he said. “We all understand that he’s a fantastic player. He is having a wonderful season at Borussia, however, you know that it’s not my obligation to speak about those things.

“Of course, I like him as a player but I can’t reply to this.”

Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggested earlier this week that the club are in a fantastic position to”exploit” the transfer market when it does re-open with gamers potentially being sold for smaller amounts.

“Soccer will get back to normality at one point, also it is quite important we are prepared when that happens,” Solskjaer informed Sky Sports.

“We want to be the best at everything, and of course today is an opportunity to spend additional time, you discuss players, discuss plans, we’ve evaluated what we desire, naturally with the coaching staff we have looked in matches, assessed games, discussing on video calls like this.

“Then, the market, who knows how the sector will respond to this? Who knows which clubs need to sell players? There might be just a situation there where you are able to exploit, and I understand that we at Man Utd we’re one of the greatest, and the greatest, financially well-off.

“I am sure we’re capable, once we get back to normality, we could do the business that we want to.”

While Mata would apparently be available to Sancho’s arrival at Old Trafford, the Spaniard’s attention has been on helping out during the ongoing health crisis.

“It’s been heartening to see many positive responses from players and other soccer leaders into the current crisis, but it can also be difficult to know what to do to help efficiently those who want it most. We’re suffering a stark reminder of how interdependent we all are,” Mata said.

“To conquer coronavirus, along with the other challenges facing humankind, we need to coordinate individual efforts and work together as a team.

“I am urging not only my Common Goal teammates but also the rest of the players and football leaders from all over the globe to unite and help handle this crisis, and in the exact same time use this as a catalyst to play an integral part in handling the other challenges humanity faces. Together we can conquer this.”
