Gotze is most probably leaving Dortmund

The Germany international is widely expected to depart Signal-Iduna Park, and getting a brand new representative appears to raise this chance.

The Dortmund player will be represented by Reza Fazeli, along with his International Soccer Management agency.

He’d previously been represented by his own dad Jurgen but has cut the household tie as he believes his next career move.

He explained: “After intensive concerns, I decided to reposition from the preparation of my livelihood. I intentionally took the time required for this step since it’s an important path for me in the long run, and because I wish to separate private and professional.

“I am really excited about working with Reza Fazeli along with his bureau International Soccer Management, whose professional competence has persuaded me.”

It had been Jurgen, Gotze who awakened Mario’s return to Dortmund in the summer of 2016, at a $25m transfer from Bayern Munich having gone another way three years before.

Nevertheless, he has turned to Fazeli, which also represents a range of Gotze’s present Dortmund team-mates such as Emre May, Mahmoud Dahoud and Marwin Hitz, in addition to former Borussia participant Nuri Sahin, today with Werder Bremen.

The 27-year-old was heavily linked with Roma when his bargain with Dortmund expires in the summer.

It’ll end Gotze’s most up-to-date institution with Dortmund, having broken into the first team in 2010 after coming through the youth ranks and reservations, prior to making a $41m change to Bayern in the summer of 2013.

He had been a key figure in Dortmund winning the Bundesliga titles under the management of Jurgen Klopp at 2011 and 2012, and in addition, he won the DFB-Pokal at 2017 during his second spell with the team.

Gotze has won 63 international limits, scoring 17 goals – undoubtedly the most famous being his additional time strike from Argentina to win Germany that the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

However, his livelihood was interrupted by trauma, and this year he played with only 596 minutes of soccer across 19 matches for Dortmund in most contests, many as a replacement – requiring a new start somewhere fresh.
